One of my co-workers received a very pretty boquet from her husband and of course, I had to take some pics of hers, since I don't have a Valentine.
I have joined a few fellow photographers in taking this challenge to take at least one picture a day. Being able to capture the beauty and events around me allow be realize how blessed I truly am.

MIA
I know I haven't been here on a while but I have been taking pics everyday, well almost everyday and as soon as I get a break, I will be posting my daily pics. Work has been keeping me busy and I have been working long hours. I haven't even looked at my fellow challengers pictures either, but hopefully work is winding down a little and I can begin to breathe again. I do have a wedding and a maternity shoot coming up next weekend and weekend after next so don't give up on me. :)

Star Light, Star Bright - Day 41
Can't go to sleep! So what do I do? I get up and try and catch the half moon setting at 12:30 a.m. By the time I got my camera set up, I pretty much missed it. Then I noticed the stars shining brightly so I took a few shots of it. Can you see the big dipper in one of them. The picture with the lights is of my neighbor's house about a 1/4 mile away.
My Latest Goodies - Day 39 and 40
I'm up in Guntersville again this week. I had seen several thrift stores that I wanted to stop at when I was here two weeks ago, but the weather was awful, rainy, cold and snow. I stopped at a few yesterday and a couple more today. I struck it rich (so to speak) for props for my photo shoots so I am sharing these with you. I had been looking for a briefcase and was not going to spend a small fortune for one. Well, I found one! Perfect condition, leather and just perfect. You will not beleive how much it cost....$5.99! Then I found this mini easel that I want to use to hold my card up for taking pics, .29 cents! There is only one item that was brand new and I just could't pass it up, this beautiful Cheateah chair. It is adorable and I have so many great pic ideas for this one, I thought it was worth it for $50 (yeah, I know, a little steep but I will get use out of it) Here are my finds from the past two days.
Going to Huntsville this weekend and I can't wait to see what I find up there. I love thrift stores and finding a bargain!

Special Order of Smelly Jellys - Day 38
Thankfully, I have been getting orders lately. My latest order was for smelly jellys. What is different about this order is that she wanted them in wine glasses. I wouldn't normally do this because there is no way to put a lid on the glasses to keep them from spilling. She lives fairly close and I am going to deliver them to her so I don't have to worry about shipping these. I thought that they came out pretty good and based on her comment and wanting some more, I guess they are a success!

Gi-Gi's Cupcakes - Day 37
I had a meeting in Huntsville and everyone has talked about Gi-Gi's Cupcakes, so I decided to get a half of dozen and bring them home to the boys. Unfortunatley, they didn't make it intact but they were so pretty. I put them back together and tookk a couple of pics. Wasn't too impressed with the taste and there was more frosting then cupcake and I was expecting some cool flavors but to me they tasted just like yellow cake basically.
